We’re delighted to release our new single “Shanghai”.
Kitch’s sister moved to Shanghai a few years ago, and this song captures the emotions left in the wake of that journey. It’s about leaving home to build a new life in a different world — discovering freedom, identity and a sense of belonging far from where you started. While she’s found herself half the world away, the family she left behind still feel the space she once filled. ‘Shanghai’ is both a celebration of growth and a reflection on the quiet ache of missing someone you love.
